Why This Site Exists
Most jaw-surgery information online is frightening, incomplete, or selling something, so I built a clearer one.
Two Kinds of Visitors
Already Booked, or Close
This site is for two kinds of people. The first group has already booked surgery, or is close to it, and wants to know exactly what is coming. They have specific questions about pre-op preparation, what the first week feels like, how long swelling lasts, and what is normal versus what requires a call to the clinic. For patients who are already committed to a date, this resource is a reference they can return to at any stage of their recovery.
Still Deciding
The second group is still deciding. They found their way here because they were told jaw surgery might be an option, or because years of misaligned bite, jaw pain, or breathing difficulty have finally pushed them to look for answers. They haven't booked anything yet. This site gives them a structured, evidence-based starting point, not a sales pitch, and not a forum thread.
